Amer Hasan has served as an instructor of both clarinet and chamber music at Oberlin College and as a teaching artist during Oberlin Conservatory's tour of Amman, Jordan. He also serves as a woodwind instructor for the Akron Youth Symphony, the Grafton Center for Musical Arts, and Midview Schools in Grafton, Ohio.
Amer's teaching philosophy is rooted in helping his students develop their musical voices so that they are comfortable expressing themselves in any setting. Through the studying of a comprehensive collection of musical repertoire and fundamental exercises, students will become equipped with tools to help guide them to be successful in any career within or outside of music.
